Both assemblage and sculpture combine various objects to create a three-dimensional work of art. A sculpture may use a limited palette of materials or colors to unify the piece to make it cohesive. In this three-hour workshop, students will learn the basics of sculpture with artist Amy Vidra. Participants will be guided through the fundamentals of sculpture and will have time to stroll through Davis to find their own inspirational found objects to include in their pieces.
